Peter is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (NYC).  He has been a singer, writer, producer, director, and sight-singing actor with the Academy for New Musical Theater, which has been re-imagined as New Musicals Inc.  This organization is dedicated to training and developing new musical writing talent as well as getting those new pieces to a point where they can be produced in the real world.  Peter is also a founding member of the Academy's Repertory Company and has been a part of workshopping and presenting an untold number of shows.

Peter’s West Coast credits include:

Musical Theater Guild's Titanic

Anatoly in Music Theater LA’s Chess In Concert

Franz/George in Sunday In The Park With George

Roger in A New Brain at West Coast Ensemble,

and lots more that can you can find on my Resume page...

Since 2013, he has been co-producing the highly successful A Little New Music concert series showcasing new musical theater songs from new and established writers developing their new shows.  Our concerts have been presented at Rockwell Table and Stage, the Catalina Jazz Club and also at The Wallis Performing Arts Center in Beverly Hills.  So, if you're writing a new show and would like to get your songs heard in one of our future concerts, feel free to Submit some songs to us.

Also since 2013, Peter has been the Associate Producer, working alongside Michael Sterling, of LA's Next Great Stage Star, a contest that puts young musical theater performers in front of working professionals (casting directors, agents, and directors) who provide insightful feedback on their performance and presentation.

As a writer, he revamped and resuscitated a nearly dead musical from the circular file which was then produced in 2014 by Northern Sky Theater in Door County, Wisconsin.  And then his musical melodrama parody, When Butter Churns to Gold premiered there in Wisconsin in 2015, was remounted again the following summer and was also produced at The Great American Melodrama in Oceano, CA.

Peter loves to work with individual artists to develop their own solo cabaret shows highlighting each performers unique talents and personal story.  It's incredibly satisfying to see a performer get invested in sharing their story and connecting to an audience in a very personal way through the great songs of the musical theater.  See more on my Directing page.

Previous television credits include Crusade, a spin-off of Babylon 5, and two full seasons of Boystown now available on various streaming platforms.

Film projects include: Singles Night, A Thing Called Happiness and Mother’s Day.

But, his favorite creative projects to date are his multi-talented kids: Miranda, Nathan and Genevieve.
